This album is the result of reworked, mostly acoustic demo tapes recorded during 2016-2017 in a Malmö apartment, later to be elaborated upon into more extensive final cuts during sessions in a small cottage in Höör, just outside of Malmö. During this process we made, remade, reworked, recorded and finally mixed what came to be the ten songs comprising this 12” vinyl titled We Brought Some Days Back.

The result is an amalgamation of the raw, untethered sensation of home recordings and the measured consideration of countless hours of recording sessions and experimentation, something that isn´t quite one or the other, but something which evolved in the space between us as we did
something

What hopefully permeates is something that invokes what we in Sweden call ‘allmoge’, something that is both brutal and pious at the same time.

The majority of We Brought Some Days Back was recorded in 2018 at Beverly Hills, Ekbacken in Höör.
Additional recordings were made in Pontus‘ apartment in Malmö.

The instruments used on the album were acoustic and electric guitars, ostridge guitar, bowed guitar, bass guitar and bowed bass, balalaika, a singing saw, a shaker, tambourine, cowbell, fluit, synthesizers, organ, drums and a drum machine.

Max Bredberg did the mixing on all of the songs on the album, and Anton Thoursie did the mastering. The cover photo was taken by Greta María Ásgeirsdottír, and Jonas Leo did the design for the sleeve and inlay.
